Early Pregnancy Class: 3 hours / $90.00

This early pregnancy class is for those who are still in their first trimester or early 2nd trimester. In this class learn about what to expect during the course of your pregnancy and what to expect at appointments. Learn about common tests and procedures, how to have and maintain a healthy pregnancy and get more information about choosing a caregiver, place of birth, labour and birth support and birth plans. A package of community resources will be included that will have additional information about health & folic acid during pregnancy as well as resources for prental yoga & keeping fit during pregnancy to minimize complications or health concerns for labour and birth.  

Cesarean Birth Preparation: 3 hours / $90.00

This course is specifically designed to prepare those who are having a pre-planned cesarean birth or those who may need to have a cesarean birth. Learn about the cesarean procedure and what to expect, how to take care of yourself during recovery and learn about starting breastfeeding and breastfeeding during recovery.

Newborn care and breastfeeding are also included in this class

Relaxation and Comfort Measures: 3 hours / $90.00

This class will focus specifically on alternative pain relief, relaxation and comfort measures. Learn different techniques to help relax your mind and body during labour. You and your partner will learn ways to help cope with labour together through visualization, focusing, breathing techniques, music, massage, movement, positioning and more. Not only are these important tools to learn for labour, but these are tools that you can use everyday for relaxation and to decrease stress.
